Be sure to include the name of the mother-to-be, the date, time, and location of the shower, the RSVP date and contact information (i.e.
telephone, e-mail, or mail).
If the expectant parents have picked the baby’s name, and they have given you their blessing, you can also include it in the invitation wording.
When should you make your baby registry?
You can technically start registering for baby at any time, but most moms-to-be start at around 12 weeks. That may seem early, but building a baby registry can take some work. And trust us, it takes longer than you think to weed out what you want from what you need.
Do you include registry information in wedding invitations?
But in order to keep the focus on your guests rather than the gifts, registry information should never be included with the wedding invitation. That goes for any enclosures, too. Some stores give out little “We are registered at this store” cards for you to oh-so-conveniently include with your invitations — but don’t.
