A: You don’t have to include a reply card if you’re asking guests to RSVP online, but most guests will be expecting something.
An email or website will look out of place at the bottom of your beautiful wedding invites, so consider including a small enclosure card with the information instead.
Is it OK to RSVP by text?
Your best bet is to RSVP via email. It’s harder to beg in an email than a phone call or even a text. The hostess will have to type a lot, which takes effort. So if people are kind enough to RSVP and their answer is no, accept it without questioning the reason or asking whether they won’t reconsider.
When should you ask for RSVP cards back?
According to wedding RSVP etiquette, the respond by date on your wedding response cards should be 2-4 weeks before the wedding date. You will want to check with your wedding venue and caterer for their requirements as well.
How do I get RSVP responses?
Make the RSVP Date Prominent
Make the reply date prominent on the response card. For a formal invitation, use “The favor of a reply is requested by May 6.” For an informal invitation, you can say, “Please reply by May 6” or “Kindly respond by May 6.”
